From 1st October, You Will Have a New Smart Bin System

To meet mandatory EU recycling targets and reduce communal waste costs, our complex will be upgrading to an intelligent smart bin network. This upcoming system will ensure clean stores, eliminate illegal dumping, and significantly increase material recovery rates.

🔒 How the SmartBins System Will Work at Hunterswood:

Initially, Bin Stores 14 & 15 only will be fitted with secure smart door access locks, and each bin inside these stores will be fitted with an electronic smart lock.

From 1st October, doors and bins will only be accessible by registered residents via: (1) Key card, (2) Phone App (iOS / Android), or (3) Messaging BinBot (WhatsApp & SMS).

🔍 Clear Bags for General Waste (First 2 Months • Provided Free of Charge) FREE PROVISION

In order to minimise the amount of general waste being produced and ensure that everybody is segregating their material properly, all residents are asked to place their general waste into clear bags before putting it into the general waste bin for the first 2 months of the smart bins. These bags will be provided completely free of charge in your starter pack, and additional rolls will be replenished free of charge on request.
